Golf, adventure and entertainment!

Golf

Designed in 1928 by master course architect Stanley Thompson, the Banff Springs Golf Course is the stuff of legend. Flanking the Bow River and surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle, the Banff Springs Golf Course has breath-taking views in all directions. Whether they’re playing the nine-hole course or the 18-hole course, amateurs and professionals alike are constantly amazed by its panoramic challenge.

Please note that last year’s tournament sold out early, so don’t delay in registering for this year’s event. To register for the golf tournament, you must first register for the conference (click on the "REGISTER NOW" key chain to your right) and then re-enter the conference registration site by clicking on the "REGISTER NOW" key chain.

Adventure

This year IBABC is pleased to offer delegates a new addition to our usual conference program. On Friday conference sponsors will offer an afternoon of adventure. Activities will include back-country tours, horse-back riding, river rafting, golfing or visits to hot springs.

After your afternoon of adventure meet back at the Banff Springs Hotel for an evening reception jointly hosted by all the adventure sponsors.

Entertainment

Banff’s natural amenities won’t be the only source of recreation at this year’s Conference. You can count on lots of music and entertainment. On Wednesday, former Canuck Captain Trevor Linden will be on hand at the Opening Reception at the Trade Show. The first Vancouver Canuck to participate in over 1,000 games and the first Canuck to score 300 goals, Linden retired in 2008 after a remarkable 19 seasons in the league. He is known as one of the game's classiest players on and off the ice.

The President’s Gala Dinner and Dance on Thursday evening will feature live music that’s sure to get you dancing. New this year will be a reception on Friday evening, co-hosted by the day’s adventure sponsors and additional hosts.
