On June 2 insurance-industry professionals enjoyed cool but dry golfing conditions at Northview Golf and Country Club in Surrey for IBABC's annual tournament. Proceeds of the event go toward the J.F. Hamilton Memorial Scholarship.

Winners

Brian Goring was the low-net non-broker and Bill Beere was the low-net broker. Non-brokers Brett Thibault and Akbar Damji, and brokers Brian Mak and Doug Guedes were runners-up. Mark Skorah kept the low-gross non-broker for another year and Dave Terry reclaimed the low-gross broker trophy. Runners-up were Gary Horga and Ron Blouin, and Ed Richmond and Bryan Fitzpatrick respectively. Brian Wills took overall low net, winning the coveted Hamilton trophy. Noy Villanueva, James Clay, Martin Goodger and Jasper Bains were the first place team. Jim Blatchford, George Bozanin, Steve Storrey and Bradley Potter were the runners-up, followed by Gerry Parton, Dave Evanson, Greg Thompson and Tim Moreton. Marti Messam took the ladies’ low net and Anne Taylor took ladies’ low gross. Matt Schill and Brooke Hamsen had the longest drives; Lorne Perry and Lorraine Bullock had the straightest. Sean Bronson, Greg Mansfield, Doug Roddick, Peter Meegan and Sarah Newman won KPs.
