Role:

We’re growing and we’re looking for an exceptional Account Manager-Inside Sales! Based at our South Granville offices, this is an exciting position if you are committed to a career in the P&C Insurance sector and if you thrive in a busy office with a strong sales culture. At iQ you will enjoy working in an energetic and supportive team environment. Leads are provided to enable our Account Mangers to embrace a consultative selling approach to clients across Canada. This position will appeal to those who have strong sales and relationship building skills as well as a keen desire to earn variable compensation on top of a generous monthly salary.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Insurance Account Manager is responsible for building client relationships and achieving sales and production targets in the selling of Home Insurance

This role will encompass the following:

Consult and close IQ clients on Home, Travel Insurance with some private Auto
Achieve sales targets, KPIs and goals in alignment with IQs value proposition
Liaise with mortgage brokers and appraisers, in the selling and completion of the Home Insurance transaction
Experience as a broker selling multiple Insurance markets
Adhere strictly to company/insurance processes.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Work enthusiastically within a team environment
Willing to take the necessary steps/exams to become licensed in all provinces that iQ operates in

Here’s what you bring:

1-5 years’ experience in Insurance sales
Post-Secondary Diploma/University degree
A minimum of a level I or II Insurance License, CAIB/CIP designation is considered an asset
Proven track record in a sales and business development
Results oriented with a can do attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills, an active listener
Ability to explain complex information in a common language
A keen sense of how to build authentic customer relationships
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Tenacious, outgoing and ambitious
Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
Desire to grow your career in Insurance and Sales
