Brokerage Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management
3 Technical Credits
Greg Mansfield and/or Debra Fitzsimmons |
 |
| Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a popular strategy for managing a business’s interactions with clients and sales prospects. It requires the use of technology to organize customer service and sales activities. CRM enables a business to find, attract and win new clients, nurture and retain existing ones, entice former clients to return, and to reduce the costs of marketing and client service. In this interactive, half-day seminar, you will learn how CRM can be implemented in the insurance brokerage, with specific focus on the retention of an existing client base and securing new clients. The topics discussed will include: what CRM is, the purpose and benefits of adopting CRM, why CRM is critical for customer satisfaction, why client retention is vital in today’s environment, what a “touch point” is, how CRM can be achieved using the client and coverage data stored in your Broker Management System, and more. While you will discuss CRM from a general standpoint, this seminar has been customized to reflect the insurance broker’s unique perspective, including typical brokerage software used. |

Think like a Judge to Better Understand Coverages
3 Technical
Credits
Krista Prockiw & Valerie Dixon or Clark Wilson |
| While you, the broker, may arrange for a policy to be issued by an insurer, at some point a judge in a court of law has made a determination or has had some influence on the coverages afforded under that policy. This excellent, half-day seminar will re-focus you on how to view issues relating to policy claims and will teach you how to analyze coverages from a judicial standpoint. You will be introduced to the rules of interpretation utilized by the courts to resolve coverage disputes and will take these rules and apply them to real situations and recent court decisions. The session will be structured to allow for a hands-on approach that will give you the opportunity to make arguments for and against coverage and to ultimately "think like a judge." |
