Who Should Attend
This program is specifically designed for brokerage principals (i.e., owners and key managers) who are eager to implement change and improve on existing practices. For maximum benefit to your brokerage, it is recommended that more than one principal attend the workshops. It is an excellent program for new and experienced brokerage principals alike. In some cases, you may choose to send different representatives to the modules depending on their areas of expertise.

What Some of our Best Practices Graduates Have Said

“I found the Best Practices (workshops) to be the most rewarding education in my thirty years in the insurance business.”
- Laurie Forshner-Talbot, President of Talbot Insurance Services Ltd., Gibsons, B.C.

“My partner, Carl Sulkowski, and I still quote back to each other certain philosophies and ideas that we learned in the Best Practices program. This is a great crash course filled with great ideas on how to better run your brokerage. I'd like to suggest all brokers should take this course, but it is better for us if only a few of us know all the inside secrets!”
- Kevin McIntyre, President of Underwriters Insurance Agencies (Kamloops) Ltd.

“The Best Practices program has helped clarify the benchmarks that successful brokerages achieve and work towards. The methods and means to achieve a better operating business, as well as defining the strategic plan and long-term vision, are offered to help brokers individually develop their business as they want it to be. I recommend the program to anyone trying to define and improve on the key elements of their business.”
- Winston Pain, President of Underwriters Insurance Agencies (Kamloops) Ltd.
