We are looking for talented Training and Development Specialist to provide training, onboarding, and continuing education to new and existing staff at our beautiful Brentwood Bay office!

What you will do in the role:

  • Implement tailored training programs for various departments, including sales, customer service, and claims processing
  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees on insurance products, sales techniques, and company procedures
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees, including identifying learning gaps, monitoring performance, and providing recommendations for additional training opportunities
  • Create training materials and develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, conduct orientation sessions, and coordinate training schedules to ensure a smooth transition for all new hires into their roles

You can offer SeaFirst:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a training or education development role
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations
  • Demonstrated organizational and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with EPIC is an asset

Where and when you will work:

  • Brentwood Bay Office, with the option for a hybrid arrangement
  • Permanent, Full-time employment (40 hrs/week)
